Since founding an events and marketing company whilst at university, Richard is accomplished in delivering relevant products and services to the student market. A keen property investor, he is excited to deliver a nationwide student housing offering through We Are Kin.
Thomas Elliott | Co CEO
Investing in his first student property whilst at University, Thomas recognised that students deserve a whole lot more from their houses. Thomas is determined to help raise the standard of student houses with a keen focus on great design, great furniture and great service.
David MacKenzie | CFO
30+ years experience in travel/hospitality (British Airways), service provision (Iron Mountain), real estate investment (Young Group) and asset management (Director at Get Living, a £2bn+ REIT). Now championing a new standard for the student rental experience with We Are Kin.
Neil Young | Chairman
25+ years experience of working in residential property and hospitality most recently as CEO of Get Living, taking it from start up to a £2bn / 8,000 home rental business. Neil has served on many industry Boards, including currently sitting on the Government’s Build to Rent Committee.
Sylvana Young | Director
Sylvana qualified as a surveyor in the early ‘90s. Her design intelligence has been applied to thousands of properties around the UK, ensuring that her experience and knowledge are immersed into all elements of design and operation for the resident's enjoyment.
