All Inclusive Billing

When you choose one of our Hull student homes to live in, you won’t have to worry about separate bills for each of your expenses. Rent, utilities, and broadband are consolidated into one monthly bill for each housemate. That means you don’t have a responsibility to collect your housemates’ portion of rent to pay the landlord; each of you is billed separately.

No Deposit Required

One of the most stressful parts of moving into a new place is coming up with the deposit. Then, at the end of term, you fear your greedy landlord might keep the deposit unfairly. You won’t experience any of this stress with We Are Kin’s Hull student homes because we don’t charge a deposit. Moving in should be easy and stress-free.

East Ella
East Ella is a quaint suburb of Hull in the Anlaby Common area. It’s mostly residential, with quiet streets and a few primary schools. If you’re looking for larger houses with nice gardens or well-to-do blocks of flats, then East Ella could be a great choice for your home in Hull. Being a bit far from the University of Hull, it’s not a well-known student area. But if you don’t mind a commute to campus, then you could find a nice place to live in East Ella.

Botanic
Botanic is the lively residential area between East Ella and Hull’s city centre. With several supermarkets, shops, and green spaces in Botanic, it makes for a decent student neighbourhood. A home in Botanic is also only a few minutes from the city centre, Old Town, and Museums Quarter, so there’s plenty of things to do and see nearby. Botanic is also adjacent to the Hull central train station, so hopping on a train and commuting back home for a long weekend is easy.

The Avenues
North of East Ella and Botanic is The Avenues, where (almost) every road is an avenue. The Avenues itself is mostly residential, but you can find a few shops and restaurants, like Sainsbury’s Local and Tesco Express. Just outside this neighbourhood are even more amenities, including Pearson Park and the Hull Sports Centre. If you choose a place in The Avenues, you’re also within short driving distance of the University of Hull.

Sculcoates
Just to the east of The Avenues and North of the city centre is the urban neighbourhood of Sculcoates. On the main road, Beverley Road, you’ll see historic buildings interspersed with modern shops, restaurants, and cafes. If you head south on that road, you’ll run right into the city centre of Hull. Because of all the activity happening in Sculcoates, it makes a decent student neighbourhood.

Stoneferry
Stoneferry carries remnants of Hull’s industrial past and today, it’s a mixture of industry, housing, and green spaces. The area first developed when the city built waterworks on the River Hull, but with the several shops and services available in Stoneferry, you wouldn’t recognize it for its industrial past.

Southcoates
Southcoates is one of the southernmost neighbourhoods in Hull, not far from the Humber Estuary. It’s largely a residential, urban area with housing suited to all types of households (including students). Southcoates is also near the large public park, East Park, which is a favorite among residents. If you decide to live in Southcoates, you sacrifice the convenience of living near the University of Hull, but you can experience more of Hull’s amenities.
